Orange Cranberry Scones Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Flour plus 2 TBSP
  • 1 TBSP Baking Powder
  • ½ TSP Salt
  • Zest from one orange
  • ⅓ Cup Sugar
  • ¼ Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Feozen Butter
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • Juice from the orange you zested
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 TSP Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Cranberries

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Juice from an orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Line two trays with parchment paper and set aside
  3. In a large bowl zest orange and whisk with sugar and brown sugar, let sit for a few minutes.
  4. Add flour, baking powder and salt to the sugar mixture and whisk until combined
  5. Grate the butter into the dry mixture and set aside. Mix milk, juice from an orange, egg and vanilla
  6. Fold milk mixture into the flour mixture.
  7. Gently fold in cranberries.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until done. I do rotate my trays half through
  9. While scones are baking make glaze, whisk glaze ingredients together
